Every problem is different, and some aren't so black and white. But rest assured that every problem will find a great solution here at DNA Computer Works.
We have the necessary equipment and expertise to run a thorough diagnostic in order to offer you the right solution.
We can assess damages, suggest/perform repairs, and offer improvements to get your computer back to running the way you want.
Let us figure out what your computer really needs to get it running like it did the day it came out of the box!
All of our computers are built from scratch, with parts from the best manufacturers.
We will happily come to your location and work on any problems that need to be resolved.
If you aren't home enough or have a complicated problem, we can simply retrieve your computer and return to install it at your convenience.
A poorly managed network can become costly if not fixed quickly. We offer network diagnostics, updates, and replacements to help you get what you are paying for.
Along with fixing and selling computers, we also do 3D printing as a service.
We currently have 5 different 3D printers, from large 300x300x400mm units, dual color, a belt printer for extra long prints, to a high quality 8” diagonal resin printer for extremely detailed models.
The examples on this site only scratch the surface of what can be done with 3D printing. Feel free to stop by and look at some of our other examples. If you already have a model or just something in mind, please email us for an estimate
This computer was built to utilize the Dual Graphics ability
that the newer AMD A10 processors have to build a gaming
computer capable of running Crossfire with only one dedicated
graphics card. Using this we are able to essentially double
the gaming ability by using the processor to accelerate the
video card. This also means that there will be plenty of room
for expansions or upgrades when games get more intense.
Designed to appeal to a gaming enthusiast, a red and
black theme, and outfitted with all the cooling necessary to
keep it running at optimum conditions even under high load.
Cooling includes a water cooled processor with 240mm radiator,
7 x 120mm fans, and a custom designed 3D printed shroud to
channel all the air directly over the radiator. We also pay
close attention to cable management to optimize airflow and
keep everything looking clean.
Our computers are built per customer, to suit their needs and specifications.
Common builds are:
The goal is to minimize bottlenecks. Too many store-bought computers will have one part that far outshines everything else, just to make extra sales. We ensure that every computer is a well-balanced computer that puts your money where it needs to go
Finally got the line of fluorescent filament in. Of course
this had to be the first set we use it for. We'll be making a
blacklight shadow box soon, so you can see them glow.
Just for scale, the charmander is 7" tall.
We take no credit for the designs, but they printed
great.
Here you see the initial testing of LEDs, with a brighter glow via better connection at the battery. And of course, David holding his mighty creation!
Brief Description Goes Here
This was a project made in our 3D printer as a creative way to hold and display business cards.
These clocks were cut from old vinyl records. They are made in the likeness of the Imperial and Rebel logos from Star Wars.
Brief Description Goes Here
Another fanciful business card holder. Perfect for tech or web design companies.
Post-painting and LED mounting assembly, we realized we needed more clamps than what we had, so we improvised with the vinegar bottle. But it does not take away from the sheer AWESOMENESS.
DNA Computerworks is composed of local computer technicians attempting to give residents and business owners in the Chatham and Effingham area personal and professional service.
DNA Computerworks was founded to give customers the service at the level of quality we would want to get ourselves. We want to be the shop that people send other people to when they need to know they will be treated the right way and given accurate information. Doing this the right way isn’t always easy, but it’s how we choose to do it anyway.
The sweetness of quality will far outlast the bitterness of cost.
Pricing is applied on a case to case basis. While we do have hourly
rates, we also treat each case as the unique circumstance it is and
try to cater our services to your needs.
Please, feel free to ask any questions and we will get back to
you as quickly as possible. We are still offering free diagnostics,
and we are also offering upgrade assistance to Windows 10. We are
aware some people have questions about the process, so please feel
