Overview
All refurbished computers come with a 30 day part replacement warranty on used parts and a 1 year warranty on new parts. Due to time constraints and to minimize the cost to our customers, storage and memory tests are the primary concern. Batteries are NOT tested.
Upgrades
Although we will do our best to discuss your needs ahead of time, we offer upgrades at the cost of parts within the warranty window. Including, but not limited to, under performing batteries, memory, and/or cloning to a larger capacity drive.
Irreparable Failures
If a device is found faulty and is deemed not worth fixing, it may be eligible for trade towards a replacement.
User Inflicted Damage
Physical damage and user inflicted software damage is NOT covered under our warranty. For example, liquid spills or virus/malware infections.
Data Transfers
If possible, we will transfer data from your old computer to refurbished computers purchased from us. This includes copying files from your user profile and any other specified locations. Cloning may also be offered at an extra charge, depending on the compatibility of the old and new devices.
Storage Specific Warranty
Although we only use new drives for primary storage on all of our refurbished computers, failures may occur. Within 1 year of purchase, will will replace failed storage drives with an equivalent drive and install a fresh copy of Windows, with all necessary drivers, and our default software package. Although we will attempt data recovery in-house, no promises or guarantees can be made.
